Very good example of this rare badge.Khaki backing cloth with large "L" within the arms of which is an embroidered shield with a thistle over a Saltyre. Uncleaned with dark age patina. Left uncleaned but will polish up nicely is desired. Ridgeways service book ties in the dates. Goggles themselves are good with no cracks or damage and supple leather although there is some rotted stitching near the eye pieces on the nose leather. Marked 63 to rear.
